Vintage Hermès Black Box Calf Leather Lydie 2-way Clutch Bag

Every vintage bag is unique, but vintage Hermès is even more because of their craftsmanship, the luxurious materials used, and of course the heritage.

This is a timeless and classic vintage Hermès Lydie 2-way bag, presumably from the 1970s-80s based on the information provided from the shop I sourced it from.

Lydie is always a minimalistic sleek style—for anyone really, it never go out of style—and the original strap is completely removable so you can use it as a clutch, making it very versatile. The strap is long enough as both a crossbody or one shoulder bag. Or figure out a way to shorten it even more to give a different style!

As the bag was well-loved from its time, I partnered with the shop to send it to a bag spa in Japan for a simple maintenance, so the exterior leather has been re-dyed, making the overall bag in great condition now.

The only minor flaw is the light scratches on the H gold hardware, as normal signs of wear, and the small area near/above this hardware, other than that it is ready to be used!
(of course you can send it to your local bag spa for further maintenance if you'd like)

Exterior
• Material: black box calf leather
• Hardware: "H" gold hardware, with some surface scratches and wear. Gold tone remains beautiful though (see photos)
• Corners: good condition
• Base: good condition
• Creases/cracks: none
• Scratch: since it's been sent to bag spa, any pre-existing scratches on the bag body are greatly reduced, so it looks good! Small scuffs near the top of H hard ware (see photos)
• Discoloration: none
• Opening: magnetic clasp closure, works perfectly fine. Some normal wear on the gold hardware (light surface scratches), refer to photos.
• Shoulder strap: in great condition (never used?)

Interior
• Lining: black lambskin leather
• Compartment: one main compartments, one large slip compartment in the front
• Inner pocket: 1 zipped pocket and 1 small slip pocket
• Zipper: eclair zipper, works fine
• Smell: none
• Condition: nice and clean, in good condition, some minor surface scratches as normal signs of wear but nothing major.

Comes with authentication report from Japan.
