First time ever spotting this vintage ultra rare Bottega piece! This is a really cute crossbody bag in a stunning iridescent dark navy color, fully designed in thei supple nappa leather.
Signature Bottega design elements are all presented including the intrecciato woven pattern and braided knots!

The shape is so unique and highly crafted:
The intrecciato weave layer takes up half the space towards the bottom, with an easy flat & firm bottom for practicality in use. Then, a lovely ruffled opening takes up the other (the top). Such an intricate design and so so so beautifully well done.

The color is absolutely gorgeous! A dark navy blue with a sheen of iridescent detail. If you want something other than a classic black, this is it. Vintage Bottega always do their navy right, so sophisticated and elegant.

You can easily adjust the strap's to your desired length simply by re-tying the knot at the base, which makes this a nice sling bag/crossbody bag for anyone! I also tried to make them shorter on both ends, trying to carry it at the crook of the arm like a little bucket top handle bag! Super cute.

As with many vintage bottega bags that I source, the leather feels amazing and supple. Most of these are rare, one of a kind now, I hardly come across the same vintage bottega unless they were a popular styles back then.
